ABOUT

an architecture studio in Providence founded in 2015 by Ian Baldwin and Jonathan F. Bell. Our project portfolio ranges from single-family residential renovations to adaptive reuse of large industrial buildings.

Our name is a reference to the pairings necessary for good architecture: design and construction, praxis and civitas, space and matter, architect and client.

We define good architecture as:

- a process of working collectively to grow and test ideas
- a search for the creative opportunities within complex situations
- a commitment to economic, environmental, functional and social sustainability
