DUAL are James Marston Fitch Fellows!

Next week, DUAL will be recognized at a reception in New York for our project "SLICE: The Inhabited Facade." SLICE is an architectural strategy for re-inhabiting large, underused urban buildings.

Earlier this year, our project received the Richard L. Blinder Award from the James Marston Fitch Charitable Foundation, a biennial award for projects that advance the practice of historic preservation. We are honored to have been chosen, and very excited to continue developing our project, which began with a seed grant from RISD in 2016.

Laura Buchner, our co-fellow, is receiving the James Marston Fitch Mid-Career Fellowship for her work on conserving mid-century Modern stained glass. The reception will be held at the redoubtable NYC architecture office Beyer Blinder Belle, and hosted by Fitch chairman Fred Bland.
